President and CEO

Russell Safirstein

Mr. Safirstein is President and CEO of Redpoint Cybersecurity and has led the company since 2019. He is a senior executive and a progressive thinker with over 30 years of experience and has been successful in bringing non-traditional solutions to an ever-changing work environment. Russell has co-founded several organizations that specialize in AI & Machine Learning and hold several patents. Russell is a highly regarded and sought after speaker on cybersecurity, technology, audit and risk practices.

Tab Bradshaw

Mr. Bradshaw is a senior strategy and technology executive with over 20 years’ experience in the Intelligence, Aerospace and Defense, Homeland Security, Healthcare and Financial Services sectors, focused on cyber security services with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. He is an innovative problem solver with the proven ability to address complex challenges, drive results, develop and manage large teams, and consistently exceed objectives.


John Jewsbury

As Vice President of Sales for Redpoint, John Jewsbury provides insight from 25+ years of business and technology expertise in Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions for Cybersecurity, Data, Application Modernization, Automation, Governance, and Compliance solutions to our clients. John advises business and technical leaders, Directors, and C-Level executives of public and private sector organizations on how to align with, and successfully adopt best-in-class solutions from market leaders.

With a focus on Cybersecurity and Governance, Risk and Compliance for enterprises in highly regulated vertical markets, John leverages his comprehensive skill set, extensive industry experience, and a strong track record of success to deliver exceptional results for his customers in the IT Cyber Solutions domain.

Paul Engelbert

Paul manages the delivery of Redpoint’s Risk Advisory consulting services including, Cloud Security, Assessments, SIEM/SOC, GRC, Digital Transformation, Data Protection/Privacy. Paul works with Redpoint’s leadership team to continue advancing and developing delivery capabilities to help clients solve increasingly complex challenges.

Paul is a customer-focused results-driven professional that brings over 25 years’ experience in small, mid-market and fortune 500 companies including the Financial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Retail industries. Paul began his career as an electronic engineer, implementing and testing sonar and complex systems for the U.S. and foreign Navy’s. Prior to joining Redpoint, He was an Information Security Officer for a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and was a Senior Manager for Avon’s Cybersecurity team where he was responsible for global policy, GRC and awareness training.

Paul has provided strategic planning and oversight to clients, while successfully implementing comprehensive programs and solutions that ensure the alignment between business, Security and IT strategies, reducing risks and vulnerabilities that matured the overall security posture.

David Duncan

Mr. Duncan is focuses on offensive cybersecurity, with over a decade of experience supporting U.S. National Defense in the Intelligence and Cybersecurity sectors. David is a technical leader who enjoys ethical hacking and threat hunting to secure large organizations, government agencies and local businesses to keep them one step ahead of the attacker. David’s key military roles allowed him to track, defend and conduct offensive operations against Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups studying their Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and he is now using that knowledge to secure organizations. David is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a Cyber Operations Officer leading a Cyber Protection Team in the defense of U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources. Hunt The Hunter®!

Carissa Salvatore is an accomplished Operations Manager with a strong background in human resources, executive support, and strategic operations. With over a decade of experience in diverse industries, Carissa has consistently demonstrated her ability to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and lead successful projects. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her exceptional ability to drive change, enhance culture, and lead initiatives that improve operational efficiency. Carissa is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in a hybrid work environment.

Ryan Sparkman

Ryan is an experienced cybersecurity professional with recognized strategic intelligence and operations management skills. With over a decade of experience with cyber-analyst and cyber-engineering roles at organizations such as the United States Air Force, Global InfoTek, and Whataburger. Ryan is dedicated, resourceful, and technically inclined, and has proven this via exploiting, discovering, and developing threat actor networks to assist clients with their environment weaknesses; and providing the cybersecurity, intelligence/counterintelligence, and risk management needed for organizations to improve their security operations.

Russ Cohen

Russ is a cyber security and technology leader that has served the cyber insurance ecosystem for over a decade. Working alongside our threat response team and external partners, he is helping victims of cyber-attacks maximize their recovery and drive long-term sustainability. Russ’s experience includes years as an ethical hacker, so he understands the tactics that threat actors leverage and ways to prevent not becoming a victim. He has a proven aptitude for translating complex technical and cyber security concepts into easy-to-understand language, facilitating collaboration between technical teams and key stakeholders.

He has been recognized for his contributions to the insurance industry, earning a spot on the 2017 Insurance Business America Annual Hot 100 List of Leaders. He helped co-author Cyber COPE® underwriting model during his time at Chubb which was later adopted by Carnegie Mellon University for their Insurance Certification Program.
